These sessions bring my work in emerging technology and library services into conversation with faculty and professional audiences. Each entry brings together the purpose of the session, my contribution, and its supporting materials.
My ongoing collaboration with AI Fellow Dominique Wu brought an introduction to Spatial AI and extended reality (XR) to Skyline faculty during Flex Day. We explored potential ways to integrate these technologies into teaching and learning.
The session created a starting point for faculty to consider how Spatial AI and XR might fit their teaching. My contribution was bringing this collaboration to Skyline and helping introduce these possibilities to colleagues.
I have accepted an invitation to speak at the Bay Area Data Analytics Convening. The session will provide an opportunity to share my immersive learning work with colleagues interested in workforce preparation.
I am leading collaboration among librarians across Skyline, Cañada, and College of San Mateo to develop a shared session on AI and libraries for Flex Day. Session materials and a reflection will be added as the work develops.
